Braque Talley Sr., PhD
Vice President, Student Affairs
I have been associated with the HBCU Awareness Foundation since its inception, at the time, I was Vice President of Enrollment at Rust College. This organization has been a tremendous resource to students and institutions across the country – as they [HBCU Awareness] expose students to colleges and make higher education a reality for students who may not have considered all of their post-secondary options. Additionally, the foundation is an asset to institutions as it brings thousands of high school students to one location, making it efficient and travel affordable for colleges. Furthermore, Corey, the founder, has a personal commitment to exposing colleges to students and students to college – he’s the catalyst behind improving college access in the mid-south.
